I have been continuing to work on my wheel alter. I have carved more circles into it and will continue carving circles until it makes a texture over the whole project. This project takes lots of time carving it by hand, but I am excited to see how it will turn out.

Today I glazed my tall project and three vases. I have been using white and then a small amount of color. The white keeps it simple and neutral but the color adds complexity. The white emphasizes the color. I haved like how dark blue looks especially with the white.

This is my set of three. I made three cups and handles and attached them.

This is my tall project. It is the tallest thing I have thrown. It is a basic cylinder shape, taller than it is wide.

This is the start of my wheel alter. I threw it on the wheel. It is a basic shape, wider at the top then at the bottom. I am carving circles into the outside. I have started this but am not done carving.

This is my set of three. It is three cups that I am going to make into mugs. I am going to attach handles to them, and glass them all the same. They are all short basic cups. When I add the handles it will emphasize the similarity in shape.
